    Chris has a point, he doesn't have to like the game and its true empires does do everything Ace of Spades does, but better.

    Look at it this way its one less emp_fag you have to worry about trolling your buildings in the game.

    How do you make something custom looking in a game with horrible graphics and other people constantly trying to destroy it?

    I like minecraft, if I want to build stuff I'll play minecraft, if I want to play an FPS where I can move around a map and build bases I'll play empires, or natural selection.

    This just isn't as good a building game as minecraft, it isn't as good an FPS as, well, anything, it's just mediocre.

    The block style building approach simply doesn't work well in an FPS because in an FPS you need speed and efficiency, which is where empires succeeds because you drop a few buildings and you have your nice little base.

    It's like you combined tony hawk skateboarding and tiger woods golf in an attempt to create the world's leading pro skategolfing game. Except it isn't as funny as that idea. It just doesn't mesh well.

    Can we get an official Empires AoS server up? Maybe tricky can host it since he hosts everything on his box and the resources are close to nil. We can also convince players with hl2 to play Empires because it is amazing; it isn't like we are playing AoS cuz it is better or anything.

    we have had a server running on the epic box.
    the problem is that the server tends to crash after X hours and need manual rebooting.

    fun working together to make like walls, hill forts, towers, entrenchments and bunkers. also awesome when everybody works to tunnel to the other team's intel and all pop out and like kill and shit.
