The 2009 Mvalley match was the first time I ever trusted Cpatton. Coincidentally, it was also the last. On the whole though, I loved that series of Empires pugs. Having an entire week devoted to a single match at the end allowed for so much planning and tactics, as well as all the forum drama on the pug forums and the psychological warfare that went on. I think I hit my peak of being an asshole during those pugs, it was fucking magnificent.
my glorious plan ove: well i didnt really plan it, but it was my arguement about not neglecting center and sending a squad there (which i belonged to) which brought us the shortest pug victory of all times.
There was an EPIC scrim against Consortium and we won almost as fast I think doing the same thing. At the start of the round I jumped in a jeep with Fabrizio. He went scout with radar stealth, I took revive as engy. We drove straight to their main via centre, sabbed the rax, stunned their comm, killed the rax before they had chance to killspawn, and then their comm was just stuck there on his own permastunned, at which point he got out and we killed him. There's no real reason for NF to go to the centre on Mvalley because it's slower to the north, but you still need to watch out for incoming in the first 5 minutes from it.
that actually was the idea. at this times ppl usually went either north or dam. knowing that i decided that going inbetween them to their start might get us a ref. that their comm stood there unaware and unresponsive was pure luck, id have expected better from cpatton tbh (but also HSMs rax was badly placed if patton would have noticed us he could have jumped out - 2 seismics would have made an end to our rush) but would, could, should - we won, thats what counts hurray :D
Barbershop is ready and waiting for you to get some scrims going teef. We'll be the very best, like no one ever was.
Scrim series on exclusively gimmicky maps. Octagons, Rainbowroad, Hexagons, Money(old), etc. Would be crap-tastic. I wonder how many KXIC could be scrambled together, although I doubt FN would be around. We could probably get plenty of drunk americaners next saturday, thanksgiving weekend.
does anyone still have those minimaps of that pug game with tug of war meta in it? like, we would play maps and gather terrain on a map outside the game etc.
There is like one active member, everyone else is mia. Not to mention sitka runs that group now, and he died apparently. Like no shit, went Melanesian and fucking disappeared.
That Shittier Digest was better than Nigma's latest one (but maybe I'm biased). I would lower the ingame sounds a bit more for next time though. I liked it!
I'll come to aBigTeef pug, just drop me a date and if there's no trst right afterwards I'll be there.
Im not going to make a pug because nobody will show up because I made it, and will laugh about it on the fourms.
