well its from cs and cz why don't we make a map that a es type map For all the noobs out there here what a es map type is The now defunct escape (es_) map scenario required the terrorist team to reach a map-specific exit point within the round time allowed, while the counter-terrorist team would do their best to stop them. So the terrorist aka nf will have to escape from the counter-terrorist aka Be and it can be done because someone made a map that works like a es type http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/20207 So thats my idea what do u think
This sounds like it could be interesting, and fast, possibly the NF could have a super-apc and the BE could have several bases along the map.
On the large-scale maps of Empires, I don't think this would work very well. Imagine the long walks that you'd have to take every time you are killed. And how many players does it take to win? One hidden scout crawling into the end zone is hardly a satisfying end to a round. By all means try, but I don't think it will work.
In the CS escape map type, you needed at least 50 % of all terrorists at the escape zone, but i'm not sure wether it was when the round ends or if all other terrorists are dead. In Empires, this can be done by using a modified escort gametype.
I think it would be much more interesting if there was a "grab and run" sorta gametype where the NF had several small outposts around a BE base. the BE base has like, 6 radars, each one with a CD inside it full of top secret data. NF has to fight their way in, grab it, and get out. lev 1 turrets only.
It would be far too easy just to hop in a jeep and fly by everyone. The only way you could really accomplish this is by making gates along the way (or something) that they would have to get out and open. Interesting idea though.
