So with the new plasma cannon choice... allowing both 2 slot and 3 slot versions of the weapon... How come we don't have 3 slot versions of the other weapons? I mean, we have a 3 slot dumg, however biomg and hemg are only 2 slot... Maybe add an upgraded 3 slot version? Why not add 3 slot variants of ranged cannon and he cannon too? Just to give heavy tanks that extra edge... Of course, railguns will need to be revisited... Since they're next to useless.
THEY HAVE AN EXTRA EDGE, IT'S CALLED AN EXTRA WEAPON SLOT!!! But yeah if we are intent on buffing heavies further, I assume to the point where heavies are researched it's gg, then yes 3 slots for all 2 slot weapons make total sense. Though I will say some weapons kinda have a 2 and 3 slot version, like rails is 3 slot version of 2 slot ranged cannon. They both have a similar purpose, it shoots pretty straight/fires kinda faster then the other cannons/doesn't really have explosive damage so it's just raw direct damage.
