I have a mirror for Empires Files, Unlimited Bandwidth (within reason) and decent speeds. Based out of Chicago.

Place on main d/l site if you wish, Files will appear once they are done uploading.

cool, a new update. the squad lead thing sounds like it could be use-full, but also possibly abused. it'll be interesting to see how comms handle it. we should also have a torrent of these updates during the initial release in case of more mirror troubles.

also want to thanks the people who put mirror up. THANKS!!!

    http://www.empiresmod.com/drupal/node/13:

"1. Download the 2.25 Full Install, and patches.

2 Then, stop Steam if running.

    3. Run the Installers start Steam. You should see "Empires 2.26" listed in your Installed games list. Double click this to start Empires and begin playing.

NOTES: You only need to download 2.26 Full Install and the latest patch to get Empires up and running."

    Nah.
    • 2.2 was the best effort the devs ever made to kill Empires.
    • 2.24d - 2.25 resolved most of the serious broken stuff that the port caused, and the game was actually playable.
    • 2.26 was a repeat of 2.2, only this time one key game mechanic was destroyed and replaced with another that destroyed even more key game mechanics.
    • 2.27 is basically: "No, I won't fix it. lol lol lol."
