turbine is 1 min slower to research or so but is a faster engine/good horsepower and better heat properties necessary for 2 cannon heavies. This is just from experience I haven't seen the numbers.
Funny that you haven't looked at the numbers, because they disagree with you. Fission is slightly faster, slightly less resistant to damage, and while moving has approximately 10% worse cooling while moving. Fission also backs up significantly faster(for what that is worth).
Just tested the plasma MG and it sucks. The only thing that is getting overheated is your own tank (even with advanced cooling). Tested with BE mediums and plasma canon, which wasn't so bad and me driving a supporting APC with plasma MG.
