i suggest not. i found some glitches, if anybody else finds some ofcourse post em. after we stop finding glitches, we can make a widely released version. i do suggest that walls could be built faster. and a bit stronger, since now they can be destroyed. nice destruction models anyways. i also do suggest that the gas turbune engine could be stronger, and les heat effected. the shit runs pretty hot anyways. and the bio diesel and teh advanced coolant need to be faster, then they would be great. and as a long term update, i suggest an uber tank of somesort. with a limit, and theyd cost tons, but be really powerfull. i suggest: 3 cannons, 5 rocket slots, 3 armor slots(with a max of 8 plates), and 2 engines. and i dont think the arty's shoot straight, frankly i have never hit anything with an arty, with HE shells. used about 5 clips. on the map money too!! i also noticed that the arty's cant use some of the shell types. possible change? (would like to use the bio shells)
You have veto'd your own suggestion there. What glitches? Is it worse than 2.11? if not, then it should be on the download page. Walls have always been destructable Coolent is supposed to be slow, that's it drawback teh uber tanks? Seriously? Arty does enough damage, and they have specific ammo for a reason and many players know how to use them effectivly
those werent my glitches, read the old posts in this thread. i have another glitch to report, experienced by me and another person, an apc we were in was destroyed with one rpg, the apc had full health&armor. the things in that last post were suggestions, to make the battles chaotic, bigger maps do end up quiet. i know any players can use the arty's effectively, but i us that make shells in a small map, and i didnt hot anything? how is that possible? no tank kills, player kills, or building kills. isnt that odd? i know i was hitting in their base, and not off the map. i had the arty feedback.
what do you want me to say about the arty? I've used it, the rest of the people on this forum have used it. Nothing has been reported, and plenty of people have gotten kills start your own server, build a bunch of buildings, switch teams and buy an arty tank. record a demo or run the wegame recorder and start shooting the buildings. post what happens
The thing with arty feedback and the minimap is it's the feedback so big that It may look like you hit something but you didn't. I suggest next time open up the full screen map and see where it hits, because unless you have HE shells, you pretty much have to hit something directly to do damage.
as for the RPG, um, dude, we have RPG RESEARCH NOW. if a team rushes to get fully upgraded RPG, they can pwn basic vehicles.
I would like to see the old RPG missile's steering again. The current steering for those missiles is so slow that you can't hit any moving target or you have to be very close to manage in it. With the old steering it was easier to hit moving targets. At least make the RPG research change the missiles' steering. And also taiiat, you forget one thing. Gas Turbine engine is very good all-around engine. It has good cooling rate, not the best but good. It has good speed and I think it has the fastest acceleration and top speed ratio compered to all the other engines and don't forget that Gas Turbine comes with the toughest armor in the game, composite. So I prefer the Gas Turbine as it is.
There is a reason why 2.12 is called a hotfix, and not a completely new version / patch. Suggestions regarding changes for future versions should go into the appropriate forum. Arty shoots fine. Walls are fine, and so are the engines. Uber tank? No thanks. Heavies are fine as is, esp. when the NF tanks get their secondary and tertiary cannon slots. As for the revive in wall bug? Yes, it sucks, but it's been reported numerous times. Same with the revive bug where the engineer gets stuck on the prone body. I've never heard of an "APC" or "armor" bug...well...ever!
I would like a guided and a homing upgrade for the grenadier rocket, but the current guidance is actually really very good once you get used to it
i suppose that i frpg's can be upgraded now, its not a glitch, but a rushed rpg. i still find some dumb glitches. gettin sniped thru a wall? and the commander player targeting system targeting friendly ammo boxes? another plyer also told me that the system targeted an arty shell too.
I'd rather have a few buggy targets than to see mass target select removed No, really, there's a hiding scout on that bare patch of land you've been running around for the past 15 minutes!
Attack orders don't see hidden scouts. It was put in place because it lessened the effectiveness of scouts, As a commander could simply scout for units or find a sabotaging scout by spamming attack orders in an area.
mass target select doesent find hidden scouts, so it doesnt matter whether or not it gets kept. but why would it select ammo boxes or atry shells anyways? isnt is it programmed to only target players? why would ordinance be selected? and ammo boxes?!?! they dont even move, unlike shells.
Damnit i remember you, you're the player that wouldn't shoot the ammoz i'd targeted. ITS A STATIONARY TARGET, how hard can that be? jeez jk

theres a bug tracker? how do i use this thing? and these situations are not common, so i would have teouble reproducing it. but from now on il try to get screens of em. i still have never seen this bug tracker. sounds like a good idea anyways. uhuh. i dont reember you...
