1.07 Released

I tried to have a life once, but it was so boring. I realized that "having a life" is so overrated.

 

Regardless, gj on the update. Finally some custom rocket models, this mod's going in the right direction.

 

Ive been running it off the demo... so ill need to buy hl2 deathmatch... Hell, thats not worth it.

 

Psycadelic magi, why are you still here bitching and moaning? It's been said from day one that Empires mod only works on the full version of HL2. Hacking it to play on the demo was neither supported nor condoned by the devs. If you don't think it's worth buying the full game - that's your choice, no need to spam this thread with your wining.

You got something for free that you didn't deserve (because the HL2 demo wasn't supposed to support mods) and now you're whining.

I assumed that the only way to get the new Ep1 engine was to own Ep1. Makes sense!

I do plan on buying Ep1, but I know that sooner or later there will be a deal for all episodes at a reduced price. I'm just waiting for that to come out.

The custom rockets were the first thing I noticed... It was quite amazing to see those puppies in action, for the artilery shell heading twoards my face it was actualy an "Oh shit" reaction beacuse I saw that FAT thing about to hit my cranium...

 

I haven't been in a game that lasted long enough for arty yet.

The 1.07 server i played on has very bad players and lots of stackers.

I was doing some fan work for this mod, when I decided to check the servers. I saw "1.07" and I was like "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!"

I quit everything I was doing, went onto the site. and was hit in the face by a 150mb download.

But I'm still, like, really happy. Even if I had to buy the next patch I'd do it.

Don't get any ideas. I'd bitch on these forums like hell.

 

Is there a model for what the airship factory will look like yet for both empires?
