What do you reckon another GE even looks like. I can't see any way we don't end up with another, especially if May is seriously going to try and stick her head in the ground.
Factors for: 1. Progressive parties secured 52% of the vote share. 2. The DUP are evil shitbags, legit terrorist sympathizers as opposed to peace brokers. 3. Given the massive steps the Tories took to improve their stance on social liberty under Cameron, even an informal coalition is a massive insult. 4. June was the end of May. Factors against: 1. Brexit talks. 2. This GE cost £150,000,000 3. The Tories could just elect another leader again. They don't consider trainwrecks to be trainwrecks. They learnt that from Brown. I will consider the GE a success if: 1. Theresa May quits politics. 2. Jeremy Hunt loses his cabinet position at least. 3. Boris Johnson, Liam Fox and Andrea Leadsom are passed up for leadership. I would rather that the Progressive Left remains the plucky underdog during Brexit talks so that they aren't branded by the fallout.
