da fuk? how you get 16fps I don't think even an intel integrated shit could do that bad. Must be your shit OS. I hate win8 no comment on 10 yet except I will delay using it as long as possible. Win7 is my new XP.
I have a 286 in one of my old moving boxes somewhere... From my second computer. Also... see that there with putting an 'i' in front of 386? Fucking Intel needs to go sue apple for putting 'i' in front of their shit products. Since Intel been done that.
After getting water and overclocking a bit higher. Stock left - New right Tryed 4.0 but its a tough one, I still got some combinations of clocks/voltage left to try, but for now I have settled on 3.9 GHz and tuned other things up like NorthBridge and Ram and etc... 4.0+ might not even be worth it as I did notice diminishing returns as it goes up. Overclocking northbridge (which I didnt do before) had some really GREAT memory effects as you might notice in the following benchmarks. Cinebench doesnt test or show many other things, so here are some of them from AIDA64 Stock left - New right (ignore GPU here) Also hell of a increase in 3dmark but I dont have stock results saved, but it seems like over 20% increase. One day I will push it over 4.0 I hope :D And I could probably still microtune RAM, I wasnt messing too much with the timings, so they are just one level lower (better) than stock So I can go up in one place with single core and meet viromans pc :D
Oh also, I forgot to mention that I have also clocked my GPU and none of the above results include it, so here is a comparison. Looks like GPU loved the overclock. GPU Clock from 925MHz stock to 1050MHz Memory clock 1375MHz stock to 1435MHz Cinebench simply sucks for any GPU benchmark, so Iam using GPU benchmark in Aida64 (just ignore the X64 CPU results, and ignore the clock (MHz) it shows because its not true) Stock left - New right GPU is XFX Radeon HD 7970 Double D 3GB
Yeah I know But it was either 300+€ motherboard + cpu upgrade, (+40€ case and probably psu), + 75€ water cooling Or first 75€ water cooling and 40€ case and get this to its max And then later motherboard and cpu and take the cooling, case and the rest with me. Had to try. ...and I also somewhat love running older things and optimizing stuff before doing some major upgrade http://www.aerocool.us/pgs/pgs-a/pgs_a_a500_bk.html https://www.arctic.ac/eu_en/liquid-freezer-240.html Photos : https://gyazo.com/6f98ccec522885d7345781d62519a492 https://gyazo.com/4167c6a3262e74540d39df36d60aea0a https://gyazo.com/4bbffbe62992021d05024735ad2d186c https://gyazo.com/3184aa1ee300c9a7d046162c3af21a9b https://gyazo.com/bc1567f8c4464a4f5ad78871f1e3a7f7 https://gyazo.com/e38156e6ffc875fc057f960b7a1e4ee0 The cooler is so big it didnt fit the case with 4 fans 2 Fans are on the outside covered by dust filter that was originally on the case. Looks cool and fits ok too, but I would have to remove it inside to remove ram sticks most proably, which is probably the only disadvantage. Seems like there is a lot of room with the cooler for future upgrades, as it cools really well (as it is big). Even the sound isnt the issue with the 2 fans on the outside, as they run 1300 max, the only thing concerning the sound is now the gpu which just loves going up to 3K RPM on double fans. But only when fully used. btw, I intend to improve the cable managment even a little bit more So Iam quite happy considering I used table fan facing the case to keep it cool under very heavy use, now I can actually close the case, lol EDIT: after doing the cinebench benchmarks also with the gpu overclock it scores even a little higher
Ryzen 7 1800X at 4.0GHz +DDR4 at 3200MHz (On win 10 btw, cinebench shows wrong) I will see about overclocking later
Congrats, you finally made it to the top in the multi-core score. I'm surprised the RAM runs 3200 without problems.
