And that is a retarded law. I'm on the fence with abortion. No one has a sensible policy on it, it is either abort up until the baby is fully born or no abortion at all.
Democrats over here traditionally. At least the ones who run for office. Democrats don't believe a fetus has constitutional right to life up until it is born. That means even in the third trimester, even when it could survive on it's own, it can be aborted even if it's not for the mothers health, though the counter argument people here will make is "She meant for the mothers health" but she is quite clear that babies don't have rights up until it is born. Some good things have come out of Roe V. Wade, but I think there does need to be a cap on it unless it is NECESSARY for the mothers health.
I said what I wanted, something centerline that isn't far left or far right. However, there is no centerline in America that can get elected.
"Abortion is legal in England up to 24 weeks under the Abortion Act 1967. However, if there is a substantial risk to the woman's life or foetal abnormalities, there is no time limit." We also don't give assault rifles to civilians, it's pretty great.
I don't see how one can be on the fence about abortion. Pretty obvious the government shouldn't have a say to personal lives. In fact I would've thought that America, the land where people want to be left alone, they would be all for abortions and letting the doctors and citizens choose what is right for them. Oh wait you're also ultra christian, that's why.
Being on the fence of such a black & white topic is usually a sign of having none of the facts or reasoning but still wanting an opinion.
Getting a baby out a vagina (or abdominal wall, c-sections are kinda cool) is the easy part of raising a human being, it's what comes next that's the problem, requiring time, effort, money, and tears.
He gets confused if it isn't clearly labelled. And Triple-D is right. The Republicans have always been pro birth, not pro life.
