oh wow those buildings really conform to the terrain, lol we had something like that for one version. sadly it was removed
Can I has post this to the subreddit? Or you can if you have a reddit account... but damn that is old.
The video is on my youtube account but your free to post it anywhere, i dont have a reddit account. Also... we have a subreddit?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Empires/ We just got control of it from Brutus and Imspartacus a couple months ago. It's WIP but it has a decent amount of content and the devs post there as well. You will see a lot is posted by me but a couple others frequently post as well. I encourage old Empires videos, new content, and just suggestions and everything be posted there to give it more content. Everytime a new piece of content is posted, we see more traffic to the subreddit.
We may have moved on but the engineer character model is still with us. That resolution left though, and thank God for that.
Wow whats with that empires, it looks like the base game actually supported vehicles and didn't give all the shitty bugs/lags/neterrors when players control them. BTW, is the engine swap away from fucking source happening?
If you're talking about that vehicle at twoish minutes, it looks like our current APC before a graphical fidelity upgrade. The "better" thing seems to be because of low resolution and 4 : 3 aspect ratio. @Sprayer2708 I have no idea how you can make any claims about the quality of driving vehicles based on this third person perspective and very short bouts of driving the CV. Moving away from Source isn't going to happen with the currently available manpower.
This straight up looks like our current model. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1otpz4k2u9jqhxw/Screenshot 2017-02-22 00.48.00.png?dl=0
It's not like you can see the whole vehicle right there on the bottom for a clearer shot or anything. I dunno I would think bf1942 had better vehicle handling, but it's not like you can really change the gameplay too much with it. I would have thought that was the reason for the switch to source.
That's 1) a different video than what I was talking about, 2) from battlefieldpires, and 3) a BE jeep with a solid midsection and different paintjob
