    i am a battlefield player since 1942. ive also played a lot of tactical fps from hidden and dangerous over project igi to arma.
    having said that, i also enjoyed q2, which was my stepstone into online fps and i still know my q3 key out of my head. ofc also unreal tournament in its various installments.
    my 2nd most played fps after empires is a q3 mod called urban terror.

    only things i could never stand was CS (what an overrated game) and everything that came after CoD2.

    so why is it that you think bf players couldnt not enjoy empires? also seeing as empires started as bf42 mod, i think you couldnt be more wrong.

    all in all the problem really is that empires is, feels and looks old - its days are over, you wont bring back the past. dont get me wrong, the concept is the best fucking shit there is on the fps market (i refuse calling it an rts because it simply isnt)

    I wont bother replying to BRD because he will simply ignore me.

    This idea is good, I support it. One problem I see is one com on a low pop game getting lots of upvotes from his noob friends because they miraculously won, and then when he comes to a med-high pop game we see the gold icon and think hes good when in reality he isn't.
