Thanks to trickter and lawiet for recording i will try a provide a first person view as soon as possible
For the record, highest score on BE, and much higher than opposing comm XD. Decision to go on foot for a full open non-existent cover map is no bueno.
I just want to point out to all the people who are like "It's just a white Duststorm", it's really not. Duststorm has hills you can climb, enclosed hard-cover ruins and the hills tend to force vehicles through specific chokes, as well as allowing safe-havens for infantry. Frozensummit has literally none of this at all. It has a bit of cover in the South-East but none of it is really fully enclosed so you're never safe, there are no real hills for infantry to climb and short of a slightly raised area in the North-West, it's totally flat. It's just not Duststorm.
You know those are a lot of reasons I think I like it better. Also learned something new from trickster's video, I've always wanted the ability to auto-build something while I'm fiddling with the vf menu or something.
My only death other than the comm death, good for you . I just want to point out I was right next to an APC and about 12 seconds from a rax, and I used said APC to mow you down and build the ref . As far as my comment that it's a white duststorm, my comment stands, fundamentally. In terms of general game play and the overall advantages or disadvantages of certain strategies, it stands. I agree it is flatter, lacks almost any sort of geographic cover advantages, but in terms of a hard to protect middle, relatively more protected SE, and general location of refs, it's the same. But yes, ruins is not there, and duststorm has more cover points, but I disagree that duststorm is not really as flat, or a close comparison. Your nits are valid but I don't think they invalidate the overwhelming similarities.
I used to have a toggle bind for it but I don't seem to have it now. Either way you can set up a +attack/-attack +forward/-forward toggle really easily. I had another one for zoom_sensitivity_ratio because I liked the default for rifles but preferred it much lower for the scout rifle.
It really was. Look at that scoreboard, that was like half my kills :p Also you shot me, you didn't mow me down. If I was any kind of player you might have been in hot water, but luckily, I'm not
