It needs a world map where it shows where those places are located.

If you don't know basic geography, then you should kill yourself.

Sigh, I knew I should have also written that I know where San Francisco, Chicago, New York, London, Vienna, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney are WITHOUT USING ANY ONLINE OR OFFLINE MAPS but I don't know where the rest of those places listed there are.

I can't remember everything by heart and neither can you Trickster.

Just saying because it helps to visualize things better without need to use Google map and then memorizing each place.

Can too. At the very least, I know the location of every spot on that list.

I'm with Mr. Weedy on this. I know where all those places are, but its easier to visualize them on a map. Just because I know my multiplication tables doesn't mean I need to do all of my algebra in my head.

They're all fairly obvious places though. It's like saying "WHERE IS PARIS?". If anything, you being forced to go look it up and find out where it is, does you better with learning the world map.

All you need to do is give time in GMT, everyone should know their corresponding number to add or subtract, Eastern U.S. time is GMT -5 for example.

GMT causes confusion, because a lot of people think it's British time, but we're on BST or DST or whatever atm. UTC is the easiest.

Far more people know what GMT is than UTC, doesnt matter where they think it comes from as long as they know their difference to the time(ie -5 or -8 GMT) and can relate it to someone elses GMT time(+6 GMT compared to -8 GMT).

All said and done as long as everyone keeps using GMT were all good

Algebra is a fairly wide thing to say is easy. The fact that you're saying Algebra like it's a topic, pretty much shows you haven't even got to the remotely difficult maths.

anyone using anything over GMT as standard time unit is a person deliberately trying to confuse other people

    its GMT for a reason

Algebra is easy, it's just applied logic after all.
