    RC3 DOWNLOAD NAOW HERE IT IS
    Mirror
    -Removed secret rooms
    -Simpler infantry bridge access from the middle (ladders only instead of campable stair clusterfuck)
    -Less waves and more birds!

    Notable changes:
    - removed the middle flag
    - doors now stay open if there are empty vehicles nearby
    - another redundant semi-secret room

    -capturable spawn point in the middle

    -changed the way you can kill yourself in jail

    Latest version b3b, fixed trees for 2.23.
    Also includes (possibly) full parachute support with added teleports and improved secret rooms.

    Changes include:
    -A new infantry tunnel
    -New middle with water
    -Reduced resource flow and removed the two resource points from the very middle of the map
    -3d skybox

    Midbridge version b2 makes some changes to the map, including:

    - Different ground texture
    - Now two bunker towers in the middle
    - (A bit) less fog
    - Resource flow reduced to under a half of the previous, can be too much still (green points give now 2res/s (was 6), yellow ones 3res/s (was 8) and red ones 5res/s (was 12))
    - Fixed the bug which allowed people to go under one of the cliffs
    - Added new concrete walls to NW and SE
    - Added rocks to the tops of those fucking vehicle trapping hills!
    - Skybox now higher than before
    - New minimap
    - Cubemaps!
    - That is all I think!

    Old post:


    A (stupid) gimmicky map with a destroyable bridge in the middle. I decided it was too horrible to be posted three months ago, but now I have decided to post it anyway! It has some hills (oh wow) and trees and stuff and cool resource points! It has no story of any kind, it looks pretty uninteresting and bland (for now at least). It is still not finished, and I will finish it once this 1.08 comes out so I can use all the cool new materials in it!

    Any suggestions, constructive criticism and questions are very welcome!

    Tbh I would keep this texture rather than the ones in 1.08, those have fugly colours.

    I don't know why, but when I'm looking at this map, I'm thinking "This looks like something out of Halo". To be honest I really want to mine jump vehicles over that bridge =P that & some epic combat & vehicle racing. =D

    Edit: So yeah. Do more maps as this one. This is so high-end quality that this should be the new standard for Empires' maps. I really want to play this on 1.08's official server now.

    ADD THIS ON THE 1.08'S TESTING SERVER NOW! PRETTY PLEASE WITH ICING SUGAR ON TOP OF IT.

    Edit: Hey I wasn't acting like an idiot. I totally love that map and I wanted to express it. That was just my opinion. Is giving out opinions now classified as an iditionism? (Or something.)

    Why do people insist on using that ugly, FPS draining fog.

    Other than that it does look pretty nice. I really like the design of the ref points.

    looks good, the only problem is i cant find where the starting points are. and every opposite (NE/SW, NW, SE, E/W, N/S) seem to be unbalanced. other than that, nicely done so far.

    Upper right corner and lower left are the starting positions. And the map is quite balanced I think, as you can take any half of it, rotate it 180 degrees and put it on the other side and it would look exactly the same (a great way to reduce the work required only to a half btw). Possibly you could say it's mirrored, even though technically it doesn't have a mirrorline! Of course there are minor differences, but they really don't do anything to the balance.

    There are no materials that you don't have access to. Unless you don't have 1.08 installed or something.

    It's not about the access, it's that we can't yet play custom maps on 1.08, and if I wanted to release this on 1.071, I would have to pack all the materials with it etc. and it would increase the file size. And no-one plays 1.071 anyway. Also I'm willing to compile this with HDR, and again it would be useless and wouldn't work on 1.071. Then from a gameplay perspective, it's a pain in the ass to climb those hills with vehicles because of the insufficient engine powers in the older version. (I'm working already on another map as well, which I think is (or will be) much more interesting than this).

    oh, the lower left res node was hidden by a shadow, thats what was giving me the trouble.

    ignore my last post then, it is great as is (mabey a bit of cover, but that can wait until a pre-release release).

    Just ask Krenzo to add this on his server for testing as JJ45 did with his desolation map and it worked well. I really want to play this.

    please do an almighty 3d skybox... it would really suit this map, even if it's just some rolling hills or something.
