I do believe no-one here knows what I look like. Only 3 people on the whole interwebz knows what I look like, and that was in my IRC days.
Steam community is made of gay. It ruined my Steam server list. Empires became un-startable. Valve is made of fail and Satan.
*stabs Niarbeht in the face* IT'S A BETA! YOU HAD TO PHYSICALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT WAS A BETA TO GET IT GOING! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! Seriously, people bitching about the Steam Community and not reporting the bugs they're complaining about is driving me insane.
I did acknowledge it was a beta. I quite understand that. But was ruining the Steam server list really necessary? How was it even possible?
It probably has to do with the whole capability to add non-steam games to your list, or they might even be planning to support the internet functionality of some of those games (like Xfire). Anyway, I found a good fix for you. Right click on the Steam icon in the system tray and select "Settings." On the first tab ("Account"), go down to Beta Participation. Hit the "Change..." button and select "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs," hit OK, hit OK in settings, restart Steam, and there ya go! All better! Edit: snarksnarksnarksnarksnark
