I know, I was just saying that when he dealt with the light_environment he should consider trying my suggestion.

Tis very good - The fireable artillery I find very cool. Only thing I could say is perhaps the snow could be more white? And who wqas Horny Rabiit and what happened to him?
It hurts infantry of course, otherwise it would be pointless. It also slows you down when you cross it. Breaks, I don't know. Maybe I could try making it constructable, it'd allow engineers to make their own breaks. In them.
I think he means breaks as in holes that you can walk through without having to half die climbing over it.
Well, the barb wires consist of multiple pieces, so wouldn't just deconstructing one piece serve the same purpose?
Yes, that would be most excellent! How did you manage to slow people down? Friction? If that's the case you may want to try jumping through it, which might not have the same slowdown effect.
Maybe something like 100-200 entities for the barbwires when they're finished. That's next to nothing for Source. Besides, I can combine the trigger_pushes, which would remove 50-100 or so, not that it would affect anything. These things used to matter with HL1, but they don't anymore. Edit:
ya I know. I was just thinking what that must look like in hammer... 100-200 enitities cluttered :/ Also people can forget about decompiling your map succesfully :D thats a nice pic btw
my only suggestion would be to lose the side cliffs or remove the cliffs at either end (behind each side) so it looks like they're battling for a canyon pass or something. Looks like a sandbox when things are walled off around the whole map
I'm not sure func_pushes are the best way to go. I've heard that they can create odd behavior in online environments. Does anybody else have any knowledge about this? Also, I agree with Dee. It's very boxed in right now. Looks pretty wierd.
How are the pushes set up? To suck the player into the middle of the wire? I don't see why it shouldn't work, but it might feel a little weird walking through it. And Dee has a very valid point, it'd be nice to see it opened up a little.
Yes, I do. They don't cause any odd behavior. Trigger_push btw. They push the players away from the barbwires.
