As I said in the announcement, the video doesn't have to be taken during the PUG, it's just there to make it easier/have a decent pop.
Oh yeah, if it's a video trailer type of thing it'd be a great place to use Winners Write The History. It's been sitting in empires music folder for I don't even know how long and it will sadly never be in game, so why not a video for empires? Just a suggestion to anyone who remembers that tune.

People complain about the three minute downtime between destroying a CV and the next comm vote ending, few minutes only make it worse.
I actually really liked that the game does not start if not all teams have a voted on commander. Regarding stacks: I don't even know who is good anymore and the server had autobalance turned on, so once you join a team you are likely stuck with it. Being a long time player does not mean being good or able to carry a team, I myself did suck in the PUG.
In case you haven't been keeping an eye on the steam page, i've clarified the following: - You can edit your video, in fact I prefer if you do. - You should upload the video to your YT channel and post it in the steam group. - You can submit multiple entries. - The video should have "Empires Mod" (without quotes) in the title.
i cant seem to capture smooth gameplay (i guess performance has gone down) so i think i might put something together with old clips i got back when i tried to crowdsource a trailer from 3 years ago.
