Since it has a high front armour... maybe its a good thing that its a bit fat at the front, then it can take more hits where its supposed to... Unlike all other NF tanks which are quite thin...

What it lacks in length, it makes up for in width. With that being said, the handling on this is probably going to be pretty good as well, but it will be slow yes?

Speed is determined by the engine.
Currently, each chassis has its own set of engines.
I plan to give TD engines heavy tank(slightly slower if anything) speed.

I was imagining artillery tank speed. Nice and slow. But heavy tank speed may be better.

I also can't help but feel it's still a bit too wide

What about recoil? Damage increases recoil for cannons. It's either needs to be heavy (from my experience it may cause complications with handling scripts) or use the artillery slot. I don't know if the artillery chassis nullifies recoil or it's just the weapon type, like the ML.

Good thing you lowered the width, I think a key point about how wide something is that it should fit between 2 walls, like when someone builds a long wall and gets rid of a middle so tank can pass through.

I would agree it should just use the artillery engine, it makes the most sense to be honest. As far as I know arty engines don't have extra cooling like heavies either so that works better too.

I'm honestly kinda intrigued how the tank will end up handling, it looks much more square then most vehicles in empires.

Just saying this here again, so it doesn't get lost in hipchat: Move the gunner viewport from above the barrel to the side of it. Otherwise any poor idiot trying to look through it would get his head squished like a melon as soon as the barrel is aimed down.

meh when it comes to that you better dont look at any nf model in detail.
but it seems its less important as long as it looks kinda believable.

fe. ive not yet heard complaints how there is no way its very unlikely the driver can sit where the drivers hatch is in a LT.

NF biological engineering man, once people realized they could preform auto fellatio with them everyone was getting those super flexible spines, and eventually society just formed around it.

So I made some more progress...

I felt it wasn't armoured enough, and a bit plain on the front. So I added armour plates...

    But most importantly... MOAR PICTURES!

    What else does it need?

More clutter on the sides? Other tanks looks more smooth with "boxes" because they have more clutter like random pipes taped to the armor and other weird metal things.
And I'm with one seat in TD, so remove the hatch

Tank looks good and ready to play with. I'd still suggest the top hatch because anti tank crews were notorious for popping out and spraying down infantry if infantry tried to creep up. Hell, they even designed a specialized gun barrel to shoot 90 degrees.

add track segments on the sides, germans in ww2 would tie track segments on their tank, if they got hit it added extra armour and meant they were always carrying a couple extra segments if their track broke. allso add equipment pouches and possibly some tool racks.

To be fair, this is NF which is more based off of Soviet/British design rather than German. Brenodia is based off German Designs, but it still is a good idea.
