Summer PUGS, Week 1 June 25th

Cool, just remember to actually give me a list of whos on your squad. I need to know ahead of time.

 

Is there a squad leader? I assume it's either brot or catface, but for some reason I can't remember brot having a mic.

 

As a heads up I'll be picking captains in a couple days, Wednesday if I had to guess. Friday I intend to have a talk with captains about who they will have commanding for them and what players they will pick based on the current roster. Just as a reminder we will draft players at round start too because not everyone will sign up ahead of time, but at least we can get the squads sorted out.

As a secondary thing Commanders don't have to command every round either, it can be taxing to command 3 rounds back to back. So I'm fine with swapping commanders around either with other commander volunteers or if someone on the team wants in, they just gotta win that comm vote.

Someone has suggested frozen summit instead of ward for an open map. I'm fine with this but I'll ask captains about maps they would like to play. You guys are still free to suggest maps too. I can't know what you want unless you tell me.

 

Whoops, I meant captains not teams. Captains are picking teams, I'm going to help them make not dumb picks.

 

Nothing I can do, I expect most vets who would even bother to say I'll be there haven't had much interest in empires in a while. Still though, on Wednesday I'll probably spam my friends list if roster still looks kinda empty. Just know I fully expect to see at least 10 people at the pug who didn't even sign up, that's how it usually goes.
