I think booty bay would vastly improve as a map if we add a corridor connecting b2-d2. A small corridor where only infanty can pass. Maps are more fun when there are 2 chokepoints. How I suggest it would be. center c2 having a main cave like structure like caverats. connecting b to d. Also have a cave entrance from the c3/4 coming into the main cave. I cant map for shit and I dont think anyone will map this but I think it'd be a nice additive to the map.
Maybe. My suggestions is not at all a suggestion for independant map though. I just felt like every map needs a second pathway.
IMO it's fine and designed for really low playercounts. More frontlines wouldn't be holdable in 3v3's.
I love it. It's simple and it doesn't try to be a work of art. It's a map first and a pretty picture second.
sparticus... instead of working on your silly jeeps. Put in the hover jeeps. This map like many others with water could benefit from them.
Booty bay feels different then the usual choke point map, it's easy for infantry to climb the wall so the whole thing feels wide open to infantry, tanks are stuck with that little gate thing, which works just fine I think. So unlike slaughter or streets I don't think booty bay suffers from the usual chokepoint problems.
I honestly believe that the little chain link shit should be replaced by thick cement/steel walls that troops can place more walls/turrets on top of. If you can not drive through chain link fence with a tank.. you need to change tanks or drivers.
Well, it's a well known fact that in the real world tank operators are bred for sepemphobia. Empires is just being realistic. Should be trigger_push.

It sounds like a stalemate occurred but was eventually broken by a stalemate-breaking weapon. That's a properly functioning game in my book.
I think the problem is unlike duststorm or mvalley where the game doesn't just lockup at one location bootybay doesn't offer any real opportunities to go somewhere else. So it feels like not much is happening when these stalemates occur. It gets more annoying when you can see your team can't really make a push at all either for whatever reason, so you just know you get stuck doing the same thing in the same spot for what feels like a really long time.
