Jephir was no longer able to commit the time required for the project, so he handed it over to one of the other developers, who also looks to have run out of time. Realistically, it might have gotten further, but Jephir instead helped us get 2.4 out, which sapped up the remaining time he had sadly.
I am sure there are people here willing to pitch in and help. Is there art work or any sketches. To show what kind of maps / models / textures are needed.
That's a shame because it started showing some real potential judging by the last video Jephir posted. Maybe we can start an in-house kickstarter and have people from this forum donating towards the cause. I know it won't be enough to make the Factions devs quit their schooling/job but at least it will demonstrate the level of interest people have in the unfolding of this project.
They wont take our money to make a videogame because that will force them to be dedicated to it. And apparently nobody has time to be dedicated.
I still have the game hiding away on my HDD apparently. It's a shame noone has time to work on it anymore.
Nobody should waste their time working on an Empires clone when you can waste your time working on Empires!
