Thanks Empty, i just got out of the habit to compulsively check every post for hidden text. Also i like how you kept reducing my ban because you like me so much, it's like an abusive husband telling his wife that he only beats her once a week because he loves her so much.
Yes, props to all the brave and concerned citizens that raised their voice against Empty's tyrannical despotism.
Abuse admin powers to give everyone lols Everyone gets mad Lower ban because feel guilty Everyone hates you more I just want to be loved
I also complained. No reason to lose the highest quality poster on the forums. Which reminds me, has anyone else noticed that the forums have become way more active since Spartacus got banned? I'm checking new posts and getting like 10-15 threads a day, up from like 5-7.
That's just you. The forums dies during the weekends and comes back during the week. Also new flavor of the month.
I actually tried emulating HeartGold (the remake of my favourite, Gold). I just couldn't get into it the same. It's really a portable game and just doesn't play that well on a PC, or rather, it doesn't have the same attraction when you can't just take it around your house with you. Maybe when phones can handle a DS emulator (they can do GB and GBA now, so that's obviously an option) then I guess I might give it another shot.
I dont want to emulate the game on my computer cause I don't nessecarily play it for the game itself. I want the entirety of the experience. I want to hold it in my hands and be able to have my mashable buttons. The hasle of having to go down 5 arrow buttons everytime I Want to save before I battle a leader. It's just not the same when u emulate your childhood onto a pc. Same thing goes for books. Picking up a book and reading it is just such a different experience from, googling and torrenting and reading it on your laptop.
I agree, and it feels like my eyeballs just getting vaporized right out of my sockets when I stare at a screen full of text.
Kindles are pretty great. I don't have one but I'm planning on picking one up I think, certainly before my next rotation over here. I don't read much but I intend to read a lot more, so it makes sense. They're very readable and they don't bleed your eyes like trying to read on a PC does.
So how long is Spartacus banned? I thought it would be only a day or so, but it seems Trickster really mad. As fresh victim of the Empires judicial system i still remember the pain every day of banishment brings, so i feel some empathy for Spartacus now...
Based off the .gif that said permabanned, I'm assuming permanently banned. I guess Trickster got tired of how almost every time Spartacus posted, the posts were worded to be incredibly condescending, as if he was talking to a group of seven-year olds. There's something about being talked to like a small child that's more insulting than just being straight-up insulted.
