Tbh there's only 2 browsers in the running and it depends on what is important to the user. I prefer the mozilla community and the support they have for HTML5 along with their Javascript engine. I feel it's superior to the Chrome engine. I prefer the dev tools in FF too. On the other hand Chrome handles CSS3 animations much better and in many aspects of Javascript processing it is better than FF. There's just no argument for the other browsers - they're too far behind and offer nothing that the two major players do not. Then again I still use Winamp so...
You trust the company that bases most of their income on targetted advertising with your private browsing? Good luck with that.
Considering that I use private browsing mainly to read... weird books online that I would rather not have my parents know I read (anything by Sade basically), I have no issue with that.
I think that Chrome is better browser overall, but I use Firefox because the font rendering of Chrome on Windows is quite bad.
i use firefox more these days. firefox is relatively stable with 400 tabs. i used to use opera, but it takes up so much system resource when i dont have many tabs.
I don't know of any other Sade, actually. I just thought to myself "No, that can't be it. Can it?" Also, Netscape is totally superior to all these listed browsers. I haven't even heard of most of them. Like firefox? Why would anybody do that to a fox? And I believe chrome is a metal or something, you can't browse the internet with that you simpletons.
had to vote opera, since its my primary browser. no good reason other than i'm used to it and all my bookmarks are nicely organized. just sort of an anytime browser. i use firefox as my work browser. chrome as my school browser. internet explorer on my windows phone. i mostly use different browsers so each can have tabs left open relative to their respective departments. i never use internet explorer on my laptop or desktop, simply so it remains clean-ish and ready to go for sites that require it or resist alternatives. i could scramble the roles of chrome, opera and firefox and it wouldn't really matter much.
I too use Winamp. I don't really know what else I'd use though. Inb4 Foobar. Fuck Foobar. Do your parents actually check your history? Also, I think the new version of Firefox uses individual private tabs, which they borrowed from Opera. I used Opera for a while. It's quite nice I must admit. Also, PROPS FOR THE MIGHTY WINDOWS PHONE YEAH BOI. I use IE on there also, though I'm waiting for Opera Mobile for WP8, which is in development according to MOOtant who works for Opera. Anyway, I use Chrome. I used firefox up until FF4, then they went full retard on their development cycle and constantly broke all the plugins that I used which made Firefox so great. However, with their latest tabbed private windows which was one of my favourite features in the short time I used Opera, I am thinking about coming back to it. But at the same time, Chrome is really quick so I don't see why I'd change. I have no issues with it. Honestly, between Chrome, Firefox and Opera now, the standard is high enough that there's no real reason not to be happy with any of them. They're all really good browsers now.
