EDIT: I have added a .res file to epic main server that should download the two textures to clients. This should serve as a temporary fix until it gets patched properly. The water and some of the rocks on slaughtered are messed up (as everyone probably already knows). Water Screenshot Rocks Screenshot I used mat_texture_list and looked for missing textures and it looks like the rocks and water are missing their normal maps.
The water could be varbles fault. I have theat weird water since he started emp_frost (or whatever the map winter map with thebunker in middle and moutains all around is named)
Ah man I meant to try and track this down but it slipped my mind, thanks cyberkiller. Here are the two textures that it looks like are missing, though they should have been installed with the game update. It's hard to keep track of this shit because most of the textures for the map were split between the regular texture folders, the common texture folders, and the pak in the BSP itself. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2644783/textures/hotfix.7z

I think underwater shit is done as a separate texture, or vmt at least. Or maybe it's handled in the vmt of the main water texture. I forget but that underwater issue should actually fixable for server download.
Ok it looks like what vmt file the water uses is set in the map, I think a mapper will have to look at this because I can't quite figure this out.

Water was broken because of wrong file paths in vmt files. (Caused by a commit of old files, reverted and fixed.) No idea what the error is, vmf for new version is not in either SVN. Whoever has the vmf can fix that i guess.
