It's all just marketing, right? There's more to the marketing department than Steve Jobs. Why can't they just keep on chucking indefinitely? I mean, it's obviously not like the actual quality of their products matters.
In the short run, nope, it doesn't matter as long as it looks like an iphone. After getting dissapointed customers might change their view, but since it's so biased from the beginning I hardly see them noticing the shortcomming of newer version at all, so it would take time, after some time stock holders would intervene and apple would be forced to produce higher quality again.
The whole world is dazzled by the evil Apple marketing genius, only linux nerds see the truth and will save us all!
I'm glad you are reading Kant. He was such a genius. You should also read his essay on the difference between races. Prepare to get enlightened! :p
ad hominem - apart from you completely neglect historical context and knowledge of his time. also since kant never left königsberg he probably never even met a black person. but its cool that you are able to use google to find something to denigrate kant, im proud of you. also bc you might want to use it in future discussions with someone, there is one line that could be interpreted antisemitic in marxs kapital.
So he never met a black person and is talking about something he has no clue about? Assuming things on guilibly belived storys doesn't make it better, especially for someone like Kant ...
'nother ad hominem. anyway, i quote what i see fitting, not because i think someone would be holier then the pope ...
You gotta decide whether him knowing that negros have less "mental capaticities" or if he just assumes so is ad hominem since he actually wrote it, the alternative would be that he wrote someone else opinion as his own ...?! But again, he is a philosopher during the reconnaisance letting others think for him, accepting and working on the bases of prejudices or actually completly miscrediting necros he met (oh yeah another alternative, he only met stupid negros, oh gawd, ad hominem who doesn't go with that) is a confession of failure. /Oh another alternative, he needed to make some quick bucks and published bullshit ppl wanted to hear, always an easy option to make things out of the picture fitting instead of making the picture itself fitting to the things he wrote ...
no kane, im not going to argue with you, thatd be like winning on the special olympics and its not because its via the interweb ...
Do people still believe that nature really plays a significant part in the nature vs nurture debate when there is so much contradicting evidence?
lol you're pathetic ... so you agree that kant is as much of a shortsighted racist as his contemporary were? gg
Of course he was. Everyone was. That's nothing special. And in two hundred fifty more years, everyone is going to think that everyone alive today was racist against Arabs or something like that. More appropriately, would Kant have thought that way if he'd had actually seen black people? Would he have thought that way if he'd lived today? Back then, if you didn't actually know a black person, they way they were described would essentially peg them as non-humans. They only things people know are what they know. I'd bet money that if every person on this forum lived in the 18th century and never met a black person, by contemporary standards we'd all be seen as extreme racists (Notwithstanding any actual racists on this forum). Also, what Kant wrote isn't strictly speaking an ad hominem. An insult, yes, but he's not denying any black person's arguments on the basis of it, simply because he most likely never even saw a black person, let alone one that would be intelligible to him. However, denying the remainder of his works on the basis of this would be an ad hominem. A racist, despite being racist, can still be correct.
Ahhh ha ha ha.... Apple lost the appeal in UK to having to place ads and a link on their site saying they lied about Galaxy Tab infringing on there patents.
What you call racism is just healthy reasoning based on uncertain data the rest of the "discussion" is just emo bullshit. If you can read then it might not be too late - go read whatever Sowell wrote.
