that is some sexy shit there flache. Still doesn't beat this one when it comes to awesome portability and looks. hmm... actually I think I posted that link before. Another link.
Trickster, you buying a new gaming laptop without consulting us before? I r disappointed. What german brand do you get, Schenker?
I recently had to backup data from one of these. The Siemens PG 740 our electricians use for SPS programming is from 1996 and still working fine. Windows 95c boots in under 20 seconds!!! Trickster, look if there's a manufacturer for BTO portable PCs. ACME makes good cases for those, but the case alone will cost you ~ 3000 USD if you decide against a prebuild sys.
Why would I consult the forum when it consists of people who know less than me? Also, I'll be getting a deviltech Fragbook. http://www.deviltech.de/deviltech.p...95eb/cl/alist/cnid/8a142c3e4143562a5.46426637 Also w00kie, it's kind of weird. I get pissy when I hear about people still using windows XP, but I think it's kind of cool that some guys are still using windows 95. And that foldout screen laptop is fucking awesome.
I'm just amazed that those things still work. Our electricians love that old shitty stuff. It's pretty impossible to get anything remotely new with support for all that serial ports. They need to use settings on COM-port that are uncommon and unsupported by all that newer laptops. SPS lifecycles are just a whole lot longer than computerlifecycles. I'm still searching for a good reason to force the company to order one of those "foldout screen laptops", idiots seem to prefer Toughbooks instead. Trickster, get a toughbook.
