Anybody been watching the streams or various trailers popping up on YouTube? The new COD looked unappealing, whereas this "The Last of Us" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMjYA1cLOLk) looked pretty good, although I think it's a PS3 exclusive.

Seriously that WiiU looks extremely boring, nintendo has turned into such a disappointment. Also, BF3 Premium looks like a good deal.
It's $50, but fucking £40 in the UK, which is over $60. I'll still end up getting it. But I'd be seriously mad if I'd bought B2K rather than getting it free.

The last of us does look pretty awesome. But: - It looks a little too cutsceny, or maybe it's just the awesomest shit ever. Who knows. - I'm not going to buy a PS3 just to play this. Anything else on that piano lacquer black box is of none or little interest. So where is Episode 3?
Man, if only Nintendo made actual games (not those dance/karaoke/family/recycled games) for their new system it would have been worth the while but fucking hell that was disgraceful. The only game that looked promising to me was that ZombiU game. Also I WANT AC3 NOW.
I lost faith in Nintendo after the Wii came out. Me and my friend who are Nintendo children found ourselves playing on our N64s again after having our Wii's for a month. What I saw made me loose ALL hope. Edit: Oh yeah, Microsoft good job with Metroid Prime 4.

Yeah, Watchdog and The Last of Us had terrible trailers. I'm also disappointed with Beyond's disgusting graphics. When will we see some fresh new franchises? Gaming is so dead.
Battlefield 3 Premium is only a good deal for you US people. Greedy cunts. I'm not going to pay more for DLC than I've already paid for the game. If the price gets reduced with at least 50%, I'll look in to it.
I don't know, I like that they're doing something remotely different with the series. Whilst I don't enjoy CoD multiplayer, I do tend to enjoy the single player games, except Modern Warfare 3 which was piss poor. I did really like the setting of Black Ops 1 though, I'm totally into all that Vietnam Cold-war-era stuff. You'll end up buying it when I get back to the UK and me and Slade are mocking the non-premium peasants. Seriously, when you consider the content, which will amount to anywhere from 16-25 maps (if you include B2K), 50+ weapons, tonnes of assignments, plus some of the extra features, the most important being server queue priority, it's not a bad deal. Maybe for you it's a fair bit poorer, but even though it's more expensive in the UK, it's still a decent price. Plus, you really need to compare it with CoD mappacks or even CoD elite. CoD just can't compete.
