In any game. From my experience in both Empires and DotA2/HoN, yes. And he doesn't realize it. I just wanted to make a poll to confirm it. Once we can pass the denial stage and go through the anger stage, I think CPatton can accept this fact and learn to change his ways.
He's not that bad, he just overestimates what kind of strategic level his team can handle and respond to.
Thread sais bad leader/player, poll sais worst, didn't see that, ... bad yes, but worst? No way, that's just player bashing, ...
Usually he just tries to make people do complex things which they just won't do. Then he can't adapt quick enough. The simpler the plan, the easier it is to pull off. And in Empires, especially pubs, people blatantly won't be able to handle something more complex than a 3 stage plan (e.g. attack here, here and defend there).
Cpatton makes the biggest error you ever can with tactics. No battle plan survives contact with the enemy. He plans around what he thinks the other guys will do, and it never, ever, ever plays out like that.
Cpatton doesn't want to give the satisfaction of winning so he just denies his own team. No no no, hobbes is the one that gets turreted by delta farce within 15 seconds.
Cpatton was my #1 reason to leave BSID, after just too much fail to handle. Cpatton tries to boomtank on duststorm -> gets stuck in 3 different piles of palmtrees whitin 5 minutes :/
