Couldn't find the old thread. Meh. My setup in London: Pissy little desk I built from a Homebase flatpack and a dining room chair because my £5 desk chair broke. I miss my desk in Morecambe.
In case you're wondering, the big metal thing is a server; the two small black boxes in front of the monitor are external hard drives; that is a giant stuffed hamster that I use as a pillow; the black thing under the mouse is a laptop and I sleep on the floor.
tbh its more interesting what is behind this picture in the other room, but i wont tell ... also i should clean the table :S
I still can' take picture... I have the same old shitty phone with 1 pixel camera. edit: well... I warned you... Shit tons of soda cans cuz I program and drink at same time... 4-5 cans a day and some how I still have teeth. Im too lazy to crush them till they start getting to 3 layers high and falling over. Dinner plates there cuz I just finished eating a ham sandwich with real ham in it not that thin shit. Im talking a SLAB of ham. You can't see them but, there are two more tiny speakers behind me... sitting on top of huge 22 watt speakers from the 60's. I thought it would be funny to have new age speakers sitting on speakers 50 years older. Ohh and ya... desk is shit tons of dusty.. you can see it on the top of the middle speaker. Black box to the bottom left is my sub.
Looking at your "battlestations", I feel like mine is surprisingly clean and plain. Also, Space oddity, that chair does not look comfortable at all.
I still can't figure out why this photo is of such crappy quality. UP: fixed. I was using wrong mode in my camera so it didn't focus properly and didn't use flash. BTW flasche that's not mobile but DSLR D40.
because of the shit and fixed focal distance of your mobile, also the sensor is quite small compaired to those in good cameras - the megapixels barely matter, its mainly pushed so high as sale-argument because ppl like to have higher pixel counts ...
Fuck, camera ran out of batteries. Well I'll take a picture of my dirt station later. Basically the same as always, but more crap on table.
Mootant why is your monitor on the front edge of the desk? My guess is, you either like counting pixels or you need glasses. My desk hasn't changed at all, just minor changes in junk.
