I think that's the first time any game on steam has had 200,000 simultaneous players at any time, and it's probably the first time anything has beaten both cs 1.6 and css put together.

Doubt it, MW3 is always going to have more players, but I think BF3 made real progress against the player juggernaut that is MW3. They were never going to outdo it on sales or players, but did better than anyone expected I think. Also, MW3 on PC is a fraction of what they'll have on PS3/360.
