Why do you guys just edit posts in yellow and flaunt punishment publicly. Delete the thread and make the infraction silently. It's a bit classier that way.
Each moderator has their own colour. Blizzerd's is yellow. If you only see yellow then, that speaks for itself. I think Empty's is light blue. Mine is size 5 comic sans bold italic underlined pink.
You guys shouldn't have to have unique text styles (although pink comic sans is a hellishly hilarious). Isn't the whole point of moderation to censor questionable content? It might be something illegal or just something rude, but the point is that the content needs to be removed. So why do we replace unacceptable content with confrontational comments?
unless the original comment is NSFW keeping it there and the moderators comments makes the infraction seem more fair. otherwise its the moderators word against the users word unless someone else on the forum has seen it.
I understand that transparency is important, but in this case, it caused more harm than good. These threads started as nothing more than a dick measuring contest between Bliz and Commy. It cost Commy a few days of posting privileges and was completely unnecessary. It should've been handled in PMs, but Commy was provoked by public humiliation.
