One achievement should be called "Rocket Arena" or something that references Quake, and you have to get a kill or two with the RPG, and have other puns / popular culture references for achieves like every other game. ex. Predator - kill someone while hiding/squad hiding.
looks good guys, I think one would be to finish a match with no kills and another would be to win as a comm maybe.. Should be fun for people though. GJ
I hope the Achivement aint killing someone with melee from turret, but killing someone in a turret with melee whilst being in a turret by doing a barrel roll.
So, what happens when someone gets an achievement? Is it like in tf2, where you have a silly trophy over your head an a sound is played and glitz flies around you? <-is that a little hitler beard? And how did you make sure that some of the achievements don't trigger right after roundstart?
oh great, i love the suggestion made in this thread. how about an archievement that says: "fuck up a whole round by trying to grind an archievement"? can someone again explain to me what archievements are needed for? what is their purpose in a game? especially in multiplayer, which gains its replayability by the fact that your enemies aint dumb bots? i totally understand how they are needed in those shallow singleplayer games you poor kids have to live with now since games like baldurs gate or fallout2 aint produced anymore ...
You mean the achievements or bots are needed in shallow singleplayergames? Achievements in multiplayer were initially ment to proof having done something awesome until maps were created and parties organizeed just to gain the achievements.... I still want it as an achievement for the game... if it really happened to someone sometime, it can f***ing happen again. Also make the servers autorecord the last seconds of the achievement gain so we get A-OK videos. (Warning: this is just a troll, I know it would probably ravish the servers resources)
so where is the big accomplishment in gain x kills in y situation? it will happen anyway. u prove nothing. and archievements that happen 1 out of a million times will only lead to completely idiotic playstyles, because ppl want them to show off that their small weiner doesnt mean that they dont suck in FPS - though actually its what makes them good, since they probably wont be spending time fucking girls because of their complexes (btw its not that bad - the diameter not the length is important and even then girls biggest errectile zone is their brain)
So are sportstrophys. Run faster then all the others? Do the most goals in a season? Happens everytime to one of all sportsmen. nobody would have the idea to complain. So why do you? Reminds me, make the achievements gainable multiple times, a little number in a corner of the picture showing how often it was achieved.
Achievements are to achieve stuff. Don't know why you are angry because they didn't nerf or super buff a weapon.
