id move the rocket pod more to the side of the vehicle as something attached rather then internal ...

that mg barrel could be longer, it looks funny being short, and it doesnt interfere with anything if it's longer.

if the ML pod could be a sort of modular unit like flasche suggests, couldnt it be in the future coded to appear or not, based on loadout?

It doesn't really matter where the missile pod is, so long as the missiles don't impact the hull of the vehicle that's shooting them. *cough*LT*cough* The missile pod is just there so it doesn't look like missiles are appearing out of thin air. With that in mind, high and to the side.

If the ML is going to be an extension of the barrel, save it for the BE tanks.

I suggest make the afv shorter or be able to shoot in front of it, but it shouldn't be made like the lt, since NF has that "hit and run" kind of geurrilaness to them and BE has the "big and bad" feeling. For a cosmetic detail, make the lt banged up in the front (and maybe in the back), so it fits that out-of-the-junkyard feeling that NF usually has.

I think honestly you would be better making MLs be large pods on the side of the tank.

I'm sure mootant can write some code to spawn/not spawn the cannon or the missile pods depending on weapon loadout, and it would be good feedback if you could see what sort of weapons your enemy is using.

    That's a missile rack.

Well depending on the package you can delete the cap vertices and then in max you can just extrude the edges by 0 distance, then scale them all in and autoweld the vertices together to create a new centre cap, but doing that for lots of cylinders would be annoying.

Best bet is to just do it at the end and save a copy of the model from before you did it.

The inherent problem with this is that every tank would have the same damage, looking stupid. If it was random/dynamic then yeah, maybe a decent idea.

For a replacement for the AFV something like this, only with a lower profile, and shorter length wise to the BE Medium tank. Although anyone who palys long enough can tell by looking at the barrel, which is a AFV and apc, I would love to see different models for the two.

That's not too far off the British Army Scorpion that Dizzyone used as a reference.

Playing today I noticed the missile launchers on the NF heavy (and probably the other vehicles) are extremely small compared the rocket, so maybe make 'em wider or something.

It's a model, but it's nothing even close to usable.
