Players shouldn't have to wrestle with the GUI. There's no point for a placeholder when squads aren't broken.
now i get it, you just use it as excuse for stacking rather then growing some balls and just join a team randomly. its all the same with those self proclaimed pros/vets ...
Well duh, what did you expect. Biggest whiners here are the people who wish they could be Hooker squad or Whore squad from start.
i thought that squads would be hidden and unable to join. instead they are still there without any sort of indicator to show why you cant join. its really unintuitive for new players because they wont know why they cant join some other squad. bad idea unless you actually hide the squads yes mootant needs to stop playing the damn game and compile the sse1 version so that 10% of our players can actually play. its been over 2 weeks
If I don't need the sse1 update then it must be a super small amount of people that need it, just like we need a low res particle pack. Since I am the only person in this community with a shitty computer I doubt you guys will ever get the fix. The dev's don't care about people with crappy computers.
on the contrary, I am saying that it makes matching the opposition to a stacked team even more difficult.
Rifles rape too much, pistol 2 is now the grens best anti inf weapon.. 2.28 sucks so far. I would just play css for rifle battles. You guys keep blaming nostalgia for clouding peoples judgment yet you balance the game on 2.12 scripts which was basically only liked because of nostalgia. 2.27 had better inf scripts with the smg 2 and BE pistol 2 being exceptions.
Don't allow making squads without forming previous squads (ie. can't create Bravo without someone creating Alpha first). Remove.
Targeting a little better but it's still wallhacks. There is no more sneaking at all because of this. I'd rather have old comm targeting where you have a chance to sneak, or new radar building for detecting units instead of infantry and buildings automatically doing it.
Ok, so after a whole night of playing I think the rifles OP-ness is way more evident with more people. I was able to be a helpful gren when it was 12 vs 12 but with the higher populated games it was litterally impossible to walk anywhere with out being sniped by some rifleman. By the time you realize your getting hit you are dead. This makes you either have to go rifleman or get a tank, both of which I think are not very fun. But you are unable to drop mines or guide RPG's on open maps with the current rifles, there was multiple matches where I was the only gren at the start of a match. People catch on quickly I guess. Other then that, its a great version. But the mowtar needs to be able to reload while the shell is still in flight and I think all infantry need a speed boost.
