So like right now I am playing on vipers and it changes to emp_arid. I already have arid, cause it comes with the game, the problem is is that it tells my MY version is different, so I go ahead, delete arid, its res file, and the minimap file and then go onto viper for it to download from there. Then I again get the same crap and I downloaded it from the server, WTF I CAN'T PLAY MY FAVOURITE MAP! HALP!

Next time this happens, open your maps folder, copy it to a different folder and delete it from the maps folder. then join a game, you'll get the error message about not having the map, then move the map back into the maps folder. try again and it should work. dont ask why, dont ask how, just know that it works for some reason.
I joined vipers some days ago with the 2.25 arid runnig and I hadsome black textures on rocks and step terain. btw: viper sucks
