Cold Trap Thread

Cold Trap is an innovative multiplayer RTS/FPS/RPG hybrid game being designed on the UDK engine. A number of the Empires Devs are working on it. The gameplay will require squadwork and involve tanks and aircraft.

Development is moving along steadily. We have pinned down the game premise as well as a number of novel gameplay mechanics that will make Cold Trap a one-of-a-kind hybrid game. Concept art is flowing in and a number of maps have been started.

Empires has a role-play light system, represented in its rank points and skill unlocks.

 

RPG =! unlockable items... if thats what u guys mean by RPG then gtfo.

No unlockable weapons are planned. It's just a more sophisticated skill system (or so I remember).
