2.24d Hotfix Release

Empires 2.24d is released, containing several fixes and minor balancing tweaks. Hotfixed clients and servers should be cross-compatible with non-fixed, but no guarantees will be made.

So what's changed? I don't see any changelog linky or anything

 

well mainly from what I understand it fixes the server crashing bug on map change, which has been happening on every server every couple of maps. Its been highly annoying, thank baby jesus this is fixed.

 

Hooray server stability!

 

Fixes some server crash commands I think. Also SMG2 is more run and gunny I think. Rifleman stickies should down turrets in 2 throws.

I do not see servers! wtf?

Make sure you have the full Empires 2.24 installed (~850 MB) and not only a hotfix or patch.

What folder is gameinfo.text located in, relevant to steam?

It should be .\steam\steamapps\sourcemods\Empires\gameinfo.txt

The server browser is based off of folder names.
