I'm looking forward to constructive criticism. Important questions: 1. Do you think this design looks good? 2. Do you think this design fits the overall Brenodi design? 3. Do you think this aircraft looks like it can fulfil the role of the Bomber as described on the Empiresmod home page (does it look to small, too fast, etc.?) Note: these are design studies, not in-game models, not high poly versions of ingame models. Please phase out the discussion about high and low-poly models that dominated other fan art threads. EDIT: I forgot to mention that it's technically still WIP. I'm thinking about what kind of nozzles to add to the engines and the location of the gear and a MG/cannon.
That is srsly the best player made model that ive seen in that forum It looks really original and fresh, not copied form real world. I think it fits perfect, seriously.
As a case study, I believe that it has more than enough awesome! I think it would fit in really well to the overall BE design. Also, how did you model the fans?
looks...Alright. Great model, but, Theres something about the wings that doesn't feel "Brenodi". The front wing tips dont "Fit", perhaps if you brought the back wings up a bit, and widened the front a tad... Or not. I don't like the front wings...they don't fit...
That looks brilliant. As Mayama said, its probably the best player made model on the forum. However, the VTOL... things on the model appear to close to the NF designs, and the Dropship model in Hammer would probably give a better indication of the way to go with the engines.
Mebbe if he pulled them right into the body, to more of a V than they are now. Currently it looks a little like a hammerhead shark there and makes me think the drag will be quite large...also makes the plane look very slow which is good for a bomber, but I think it might be a little too slow. I like it, but I think it's not quite right - it fits the brenodi theme, but i'm not sure if it's quite right as a plane. Btw, are you adding a gun turret?
It looks amazing, the wings dont seem to be just right tho. It seems they need to be sweep back just a bit the stabilizers at the ends are a bit too high
